Although fully trained in all areas of plastic surgery, his main areas of interest are cosmetic surgery of the breast and body and semi-invasive skin treatments under Local Anaesthetic. He is one of the few certified Surgeons offering Hair Restoration using the FUE with Implanters only-technique, and Total Definer, the unique & exclusive advanced body sculpting training for plastic surgeons, as well as Micro-cannula liposuction under Local anaesthesia for body contouring.
An international background
Mr Mouzakis is a native of Athens Greece, completed the medical school at the University of Rome in Italy, “La Sapienza” with distinction, only granted to the top 10% of medical school graduates. He then completed his core training in Surgery in Greece and then moved to the UK to continue his training in Plastic Surgery. He has worked at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, the Lister Hospital in Stevenage and Saint Thomas’ Hospital in London.
His private practice is now focused in London and Athens, after completing a placement at the prestigious Hotel Palace Merano-Health for Life in Meran, Italy, offering cosmetic procedures at the Medical Spa.
CUTTING-EDGE TRAINING
Dr Mooz is also a hair transplant surgeon, trained in FUE with implanters, offering hair restoration to men and women, partly shaven and unshaven(U-FUE).
He was also trained in Micro-cannula liposuction in California, by the world-renowned Dr Klein and is now offering liposuction under local anaesthesia.
He consolidated his specialist breast aesthetic training with a breast fellowship at The Private Clinic with Mr Adrian Richards.
Dr Mooz has recently completed the Total Definer Masterclass, under Dr Alfredo Hoyos, a world-leader in body contouring surgery and high def lipo. This unique training opportunity allowed Dr Mooz to further hone his skills and learn from the plastic surgeon who created Vaser High Definition Liposculpture and is considered a true artist, able to create beautiful, contoured bodies.
QUALIFICATIONS & MEMBERSHIPS
Mr Michael Mouzakis has a special interest in Aesthetic Surgery, offering a variety of procedures. He strongly believes that Medicine is infinite, and every doctor needs to keep up to date. He accomplished a Master in Aesthetic Medicine at the Queen Mary University of London, with distinction and was offered to take actively part in research and produce protocols for new advanced cosmetic treatments.
Moreover, he accomplished a Cosmetic Fellowship in Breast Aesthetic Surgery at The Private Clinic of Harley Street, working closely under the supervision of Mr Adrian Richards, for 12 months.
He is a full member of the UK Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (UKAAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the Hellenic Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS).
